Sign in as a member

POST/auth/{uid}/login

A sign-in token for one member of your organisation, to open their account from your own software. Add it to an app address as sit; the member is signed in and the address opens:

Use the token within an hour of getting it. Because it opens the member's whole account, it is held to more than other endpoints:

  • the key must have been created with Members: Read and write access (a key made before access areas existed does not qualify);
  • it must be a live key;
  • it is never given for your own account, nor for an Admin or a Manager of the organisation.

Responses

  • SignInToken:

    • tokenstringrequired
      A one-time sign-in token for the member. Use it within an hour.

Errors

A failed request answers with one of these, in an Error body.

401unauthorized_actionThe item is not on your account or your members', the request came from a web page on a website the key does not allow, or the action is not allowed for this person.
403insufficient_scopeThe key does not have the access this endpoint needs. Create a key with that access.
403invalid_api_keyNo key was sent in the Authorization header, or the key is unknown, revoked, or past the time it kept working after being replaced.
403scope_not_in_planYour plan does not include this endpoint, for example members on Open Guest.
403subscription_expiredYour subscription is not active. Update your payment method in the app.
404user_not_foundThe person does not exist or is not a member of your organisation.
